I am searching for any information on Virginia McNiell born c.1860. She was my Great Great Grandmother.
She had a son William Henry James (c.1877) although I believe he later changed his name to Jack Warren. The Warren part was taken from the surname of a man his mother was living with.
Virginia went to America when her son was about 12-13 (leaving him behind) to run a chicken farm.
I don't know if she travelled under the surname McNiell, James, Warren or something entirely different. I know it's a long shot but if anyone can help with any information I would be extremely grateful.
