No problem, could not look on the 1851 on findmypast they dont have it!! Perhaps someone else can do that for you.

thank you for your looking.....
It could well be him in 1861 because 'family 'legend' has it that he was the son of an unmarried mother and his age does fit.

Can anyone help me please to find:
Walter William Bird ( or William Walter) in the 1851 census?
He was born in Felsham (Stowmarket), Suffolk, I think in 1840.
I'm not sure who his parents were or exactly where he would have been living,although it probably was in the south Suffolk / north Essex area.
