You can't get certificates from before 1837 - that's why you can't find any. Have you checked the IGI for baptisms and the marriage?

Can you help? Ican't find any certs for Thomas Swaby c1800 who married Elizabeth about 1829, they had a son Thomas 1831 born in Beverley. Where can i look for this info.
