The inscription on the gravestone of an ancestor in my family says she died in Jun 1976 aged 78, therefore DoB should be 1898. However, the record i find is of her being born in 1891 and not 1898!! I have also an old pic of her with the rest of the family looking much older than three of her brothers - the oldest of which was born 1896. I am therefore confused and could do with a sanity check as my family all claim that her gravestone details are definately correct!! |
