Ah Janice and Jim - I am foxed now as the only other information I had about her was that she was living with her Grandmother Louisa Dunn (nee Draper) and family and young Benjamin Thomas Gates was also living there - he was Louisa Dunn's granchild as well. I'll make a note of it just in case. Thank you both. |

Great Janice - that's definitely Benjamin - the Dunn family had a daughter Ruth, so that fits in nicely. |

Jim - thank you. Arn't I daft, my heart sank when I saw that death - I could just see this little 6 yr old Benamin without a Mum. That would explain why he was resident with his grandmother in 1881 |

What a coincidence - Amelia I mean. Why was Benjamin with Gran in 1881 - did new bride not want him around ??? Ahhhh. Anyway, thanks Jim, you really are the expert at this. |

This gets better Jim - how peculiar if Amelia married the Benjamin fellow. Another coincidence !! |
