From your new thread that needs deleting:

http://genesreunited.co.uk/boards.asp?wci=thread&tk=981335

"I HAVE FOUND SOME THINGS ABOUT HARRY GG CLARKE
NOW IM LOOKING FOR ANYTHING ABOUT HIS SISTERS
EDITH BORN 1897 AND WINNIFRD BORN 1895
ALL FROM BRAUNTON DEVON"

(divided up to make it a little more coherent)

Winnifred's name wasn't Winnifrd. Spelling matters when it comes to names.

If you go to

http://www.freebmd.org.uk

and do a search for

marriages
surname: clarke
given name: winnifred
county: devon
years: 1910 to 1930

you will find what could be her marriage. No way to know without ordering the certificate to learn the father's name.

Edith was Edith M on the 1901 census, as I copied above. If you do the search for her, you will see several Ediths and Edith Ms, with only one marriage for an Edith M in Barnstaple, which could be her. Again, no way to know without ordering the certificate.

Hi Marilyn!

You might ask about these people at the Devon Family History Society discussion board -- there are people there who are in the area and are quite knowledgeable about Devon.

http://members.boardhost.com/devonfhs/

My request there was for a lookup, and someone found my grx2 grandfather's baptism right away.

Meanwhile, in case you don't have it, this is the household in 1901:

Name: George G Clark
Age: 39
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1862
Relation: Head
Spouse's Name: Alice M
Gender: Male
Where born: Braunton, Devon, England

Civil Parish: Braunton
Ecclesiastical parish: St Brannocks
Town: Braunton
County/Island: Devon
Country: England
Registration district: Barnstaple
Sub-registration district: Ilfracombe
ED, institution, or vessel: 3
Household schedule number: 165

Household Members:
Name Age
Mary A Adams 16
Kathleen I Brown 6
Alice M Clark 39 - Postmistress
Edith M Clark 8
George G Clark 39 - Assistant (?) and shop owner
Harry G G Clark 11
Winnifred A Clark 6
Mary A Ling 70

Here's Harry's birth, maybe the correct spelling of the surname:

Name: Harry George G Clarke
Year of Registration: 1889
Quarter of Registration: Apr-May-Jun
District: Barnstaple
County: Devon
Volume: 5b
Page: 471

This would be the parents' marriage:

Name: George Gould Clarke + Mary Alice Ling
Year of Registration: 1887
Quarter of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar
District: Barnstaple
County: Devon
Volume: 5b
Page: 684

-- Mary A Ling in the 1901 household is George's mother-in-law.

If this url doesn't work, just google "harry g g clarke", in quotation marks like that. You'll have to copy and paste this url in another window:

http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/nra/searches/subjectList.asp?
subjectType=R&LR=821&_AbsolutePage=4

NRA 41275
Harry GG Clarke, ship manager, Braunton
Reference B168

... I don't actually know what you do with that info, though. ;)

This is a link to the google search results:

+site:nationalarchives.gov.uk+%22harry+g+g+clarke%22

Not a whole lot of help, but maybe something! If you do post at the DFHS board, be sure to mention these things you already know.
