Aha, here's the St Neot OPC:

and the parish OPC index:

No data on line, but you can submit queries by email.

You might find your William Austin's birth among the several at

The records for Cornwall there are generally excellent -- but no Charlotte Mellow, unfortunately.

There are numerous records on this search:

MELLOW (with variants for forename and surname) in Cornwall between 1791 and 1801 for all types of record.

that could be births of siblings, e.g.

The batch number

http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~hughwallis/IGIBatchNumbers.htm#Menu

for St Cleer baptisms is

C053091 1597-1837

You can search the IGI with that batch number, region British Isles and surname (or given name, or year ...) only. No Austin or Mellow births in St Cleer.

For St Neot there is unfortunately only

C065421 1820-1837 -- Bible Christian baptisms.

No wonder you can't find them.

But one assumes this is the Mellow parents? --

JOHN MELLOW
Spouse: ELIZABETH CRABB
Marriage: 11 JUN 1793 Saint Neot, Cornwall, England

No Austin marriage, though.

Uh oh, looks like they must have been St Neot's -- no baptisms for them in St Cleer.

There's this marriage:

AUSTIN George Hurbert
1890 27-Jul St. Cleer,
batchelor, farmer, age 27
John Austin, farmer
MELLOW Mary Jane Gill
John Olliver, Martha Ann Mellow
license
2823-9PR
p.200-399

but that seems to be about the closest thing.

You might still contact the OPC -- he lives in Wisconsin, with ancestors in St Cleer in the 13-1400s (I wrote to thank him effusively for the resource, and ask a question). He might have some St Neot's pointers. I'm not really familiar with the whole OPC thing, so I don't know whether St Neot's has one of its own.

Mine ancestor:

SIBLY Samuel
1787 03-Sep
late parish clerk, a worthy man

I assume I'm related to this one too:

"SIBLY Mary
1791 22-Oct
85 yrs an excellent woman & great sufferer

I lose track without looking it up -- she may have been his wife. Maybe you had to be a great sufferer to be married to such a worthy man. ;)

(No, she wasn't his wife. My grx3 grandmother was only born a couple of years before Samuel died, so an 80-yr-old woman wasn't her mother, duh. Some maternal ancestor I'm sure, though.)

The second site has links for births, marriages and deaths, alphabetically.

St Cleer has a great Online Parish Clerk -- and in fact my own grx4 grandfather was the real-life parish clerk of St Cleer in the mid-1700s!

I'll go find the sites and come back ...
