Member Since: August 2004 Posts: 0 Send Message	Hi, I am trying to identify the place of birth and exact date for John Murray McLean. He was born in Scotland in 1839. Did 21 years in service and was a Chelsea out pensioner by the age of 39. There are inconsistencies in his war records - I suspect he lied and joined up under age. He then married Annie Saw and had 2 sons, John and William and settled in the Warwickshire area. Would love to hear from any relatives of his. Thanks Kate
