Does anybody out there have access to Norfolk baptism records. I'm trying to establish the mother's name of Elizabeth Baine born 1823 in Scoulton, Norfolk. Her father was called William Baine, a blacksmith. I have Elizabeth's marriage certificate but don't know the exact year of her birth. The m/c points to 1823 but on the 1881 census her birth year is given as 1835. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

Thank you very much for your time............. I do have copies of the 61 and 71 census, but thanks for the transcription. I don't think the Bean family has any signficance for me, names and places just don't fit. I'm not sure about the Blakeney and Yarmouth marriages, I'll have to investigate those leads further, they could be correct............ Anyway, thanks again for your help to everyone who responsed to this thread. |
