I am trying to trace ancestors of Edith Margaret Martin, she married Samuel Elsey (1886-1981) Hernhill,Faversham,Kent in 1913.
At the time of her marriage she was living in Herne Bay,Kent.
She died in Kent and Canterbury Hospital following a fall in her home in St.Peters Grove,Canterbury,Kent. An inquest was held into her death.
Her husband Samuel Elsey was a master farrier and blacksmith and had a forge in North Lane,Canterbury,Kent, which he ran with his brother Ernest.
They had one son,Samuel George Elsey 1917-1975.
I have no details of her place of birth (possibly Kent,Susex or Surrey),but her fathers name was George Martin (a clerk by occupation)
Any information would be appreciated, searches of the birth indexes and census returns have have found nothing conclusive!
