i'm looking for my dads side off the family all i know is his brothers and 1 sister so i'm looking to go back. i wont to go back as far as i can.
i'm sorry i'm not very clear

Your thread title said you were looking for your grandfather.

Do you want to search backwards or forwards?

First you say you know nothing ...then you say you know his name also who he married!

I checked 1944 but the last two quarters are missing on Ancenstry. He isnt on quarter one or two....sorry.

Same for 1945.

Go to the tips board and kindly ask for a 'find my past' look up.
1944 quarter 3 & 4.

all i now is that he was born a few yrs before the end off the war. he was born in devizes. his mothers m/name was Neate
