Hi i am trying to trace the martin family my grandma Lavinia Eliza Martin was born in Sheppey on 22 1 1887,her mother my gr.grandma was Lavinia Maria Spanner and her dad my gr grandad was Alfred George Martin and his occupation was a Coppersmith in Shearness Kent.My grandma and grandad Richard Shephard b 1887,were married in 1910 and they had one son Richard Henry Arthur Shephard(my dad) b 1910 d 1950 he was born on The Isle of Wight.It would be very good if anyone could add any info on the Martins as i do not know if my grandma had brothers or sisters,My gran and grandad moved to Hull but i dont know when.My dad married Ellen Snee in 1938 in Hull and they had 3 boys Richard,Frank and Arthur and one girl(Me) Joan |
