Hi, I'm trying to find out more information about my great uncle.

His name was JOHN ARTHUR RICHARD FIFIELD, born in Plumstead, London in 1915. His parents were John and Maud Fifield, and he had two brothers called Stanley and Reginald.

He apparently won a scholarship to the Haberdashers Aske as a boy, but I am checking this with school archivists. His death certificate said he was an electrical engineer, although my dad thought he remembered him being a nuclear physicist. I don't think he ever married.

He retired in Poole, Dorset, where he lived until he died in 1993.

I know it's a long shot, but if anyone is related to John, or knew him, please message me through Genes Reunited, or email me on [email protected]. You could help me solve our biggest family mystery!

Thank you.
