Emma had one child, Edwin (born in Babraham, Cambs.1825), Mercy had seven children, Fanny,Anne, Arthur, Edmund, Ellen, Samuel and John (born mainly in Stratfield Saye, Hampshire plus John in Shinfield, Berkshire). All born around the 1830s.
Any help very welcome.

Are you saying William had two wives, Emma and Mercy?

Could you tell us what info you already have re William and his family please - what census and certs?
