causing the body to be cremated ???

My other one was 1947 with this on - jsut remembered I had another! The address of my step ancestor was on there and I found the person causing the body etc was the landlord of the lodgings he was living in (electoral roll gave me the names) |

Thank you everyone ! So really the person who is the informant could be anyone............I was hoping that it was a relative,never mind at least it gave me her place and date of birth. |

I had this on one cert - the person "causing the body" etc turned out to be a social worker (this is a fairly recent death). So basically as Sue says its someone who takes the responsibility when there are no relatives. |

Im told by a registrar after I recieved the same on a certificate that the person who registered the death Is not related to the deceased, thereby they are causing the body to cremated or buried |
