Yes, I think that should be ok Jan. I got the address from the Genuki Guernsey site. If you google Genuki Guernsey you could save the site to your favourites and have a good mosey through it.

Hi Jan

As you already know his date of birth all you need to do is contact the following address/phone number. Civil registration didn't begin until 1919 on Guernsey so records pre 1919 may be a bit patch, but as you already have the date, the search for the staff will be easier.

Can anyone help me on a look up in the GUERNSEY Channel Islands? Then name is George Or George John Luscombe born sept 5th 1905 he was an orphan and put into father hudsons home he at some stage came to Birmingham England as he married my nan Nellie Barns in i believe 1930
I would be so very greatful if anyone can find out about his birth records so i can get a copy of his birth cert
