Hi all
Have sent for cert thankyou very much, Kath i knew i didnt pay for it ,you have solved the mystery its a pity they didnt leave it free it was good to browse,thanks Kath
Sylvia the reason i was missing it i think had something to do with the fact it was about 1am i had not realised the time thank you i now know it is to the right

BUT freebmd DOES show the volume and page number at the right of each entry .... for every entry.


So I'm not sure how you were missing it!

It sounds as if you were using the complete index on Ancestry which used to be free, but is now only available with a subscription.

Thank you both i can now order cert , i have looked up bmd before and always found vol and page num free but i cant think what site i know i had to wait for a green bar to go across before i was able to look , must be my age , thanks again
