I am trying to establish whether James Brown, born in Guiseley circa 1783 and married to Sarah Anderson in 1808, was the father of my great great grandfather John Brown, born in Guiseley 1816 and married to Elizabeth Preston, in Guiseley, in 1836. Has anybody traced any of the Brown family from Guiseley?
