yes reggie thanks i had suspicion fenny compton seems my intuition ma have been right thats warwickshire isnt it?

You say the one in 1841 is the right chap.........well, he wasn't born in Oxfordshire.

Does that help with deciding about 1851?

my grandfather joseph maycock 1837 twice removed was born in epwell in oxfordshire his father was william maycock 1791 his mother mary blencoe 1801 they were married in 1821 in epwell im having a lot of trouble finding out where william was born and who was his father would be grateful for any advice in what to do thanks in anticipation teresa from aberystwyth
