Paddington is West London and comes under Kensington registration district. Islington is a separate district.

May not have been registered............it wasn't compulsory until 1875

I am going round the bend, can anybody help on the census my grandfathers birthplace says Paddington sent on GRO for one at Hendon but they checked and not correct there are two more for that date 1857 one for Kensington and one for Islington looked on IGI one lady who had records for Paddington showed it as Kensington on the GRo records but I keep seeing Islington as part of Paddington I am so confused can anybody help.
