Hi Leslie, You could check the 'RYERSON INDEX' (on-line) they have newspaper death notices from abt 1970 to present day. They may have death notice of son 'William E'. They will do 'look-ups' (free) for family names. ............... Also - 'JOY MURRIN's Transcription service' will 'search' NSW BMD (fees from $7). (Aus. d. certs give name & ages of all off-spring.)....................... Valerie (WA) |

James Ferguson Guthrie Emigrated to Australia on 9th May 1921 aboard the Commonwealth 41 yrs old gamekeeper wife Jane 36 and son William Erskine Guthrie aged 5. Last address in Scotland 3rd Row Marytown, S. Kirriemuir. Are there any descendants out there please. J. F. Guthrie was my wife's Great Uncle. |
