	Hi Joan I found the marriage record Lavinia and Richard married in 1910 April-June Isle OF Wight vol 2b page 1197 Richard H A Shepherd was born 1911 Jan-Mar IOW vol 2b page 550 found 2 Richard Shepherds b 1887 neither on Ise O Wight one b Bath checked him out fathers name Henry mother Emma the other born York so didn't bother with him. a Lavinia Eliza Martin was born 1887 Jan-Mar Sheppey Kent vol 2a page 897 couldn't find her on 1891 or 1901 census with that birth record. Isle of Wight comes under Hampshire but no trace of Richard or George that I can find on 1891 or 1901 census best I an do good luck Pat

Member Since: November 2007 Posts: 17 Send Message	HELLO I AM TRYING TO TRACE MY FAMILY, MY DAD WAS RICHARD HENRY ARTHUR SHEPHERD AND HE WAS BORN ON THE ISLE OF WIGHT 1N 1910, MY GRANDAD WAS ALSO BORN ON THE I.O.W AND HIS NAME WAS RICHARD SHEPHERD B 1887 AND MARRIED LAVINIA ELIZA MARTIN ALSO B.1887. I KNOW MY GR,GRANDAD WAS GEORGE BUT I DONT HAVE ANY INFO ON HIM IT WOULD BE GOOD IF ANYBODY COULD SHED SOME LIGHT TO THIS MISTERY! REGARDS JOAN
