Trying to find the sister of Annie Taylor (born in Tadcaster in about 1860-), Their father was Edward Taylor. M y father spoke about an aunt who lived in Saltaire.
I would appreciate any information about Taylors who lived in Saltaire or their descendants.
Hope someone can help.
Many thanks

google google
There's a watercolour artist in Saltaire now named Jeremy Taylor.
If you google
"Jeremy Taylor" Saltaire
you'll find a site that has numerous references to him; unfortunately, the site itself is now dead. ;) But you can read google's cached versions of it.
If you google just
taylor saltaire
you'll also find references to Hilary Taylor, a landscape...er, her site.:

And if you search trees here at GR, you'll find four people with Taylors born in Saltaire in their tree -- one of whom is likely very much alive. It is possible that the contemporary Taylors are recent immigrants to Saltaire, of course, but it should be easy to contact some of them to find out.
This one's interesting:

Very confusing! I guess I should have asked first about what else you might know ...
Just wanted to add that I took a stab at your Lucy Elizabeth Robinson and Henry Albert Johnson, to no avail because the names are so common -- despite the wonderful wealth of well-organized info you provided in that request.

You're welcome, Susan! I'm just saying it here in reply to your PM because I like to have all the stuff about something in one place, instead of all those loose ends in my inbox. ;)
So when you do progress -- just stick whatever's new in this thread. Then whenever you want to find it, you just click on "my threads" over on the left there. Good luck!
