Looking for any info on my Grt Grandad George Arnold born about1856 East London( St Georges in the East) he married Catherine Norcott. I have not been able to trace any birth record or Census after 1871.

Hi Vivian,
Is this who you're looking for - George Arnold born c1856 Dock Labourer, wife Catharine born c1860 children George 1890, Albert 1892 and David 1897 they're on 1901 Census living at 18 Winterston Bldgs. Stepney. Let me know if it's them and I'll try to find their birth records.
