My grandad was put in a home from birth,and adopted by a family from derby at a later date.As far as i no he had no info on any brothers or sisters.He did in fact try and trace his mother when stationed at a barracks in shepherds bush during world war 2.But he never talked about if he found his mother.Thanks |

YES.IVE CHECKED IN DETAIL ALL 10.I EVEN HAVE THE BIRTH CERT OF EDITH M BILLS.THE M BEING SPELT MAUD.BUT I CANT EXACTLY PIN THIS DOWN TO THE RIGHT WOMEN.THIS EDITH EVEN CAME FROM THE LONDON AREA.I JUST NEED SOMETHING TO TIE MY GRANDADS BIRTH CERT WITH ONE OF THESE WOMEN.AND ALL I HAVE THAT IS RELAVENT IS THE ADRESSES.AARON |

THE PROBLEM IS ALL I HAVE IS MY GRANDADS BIRTH CERT.IT HAS NO AGE OF HIS MOTHER ON IT.AND NO FATHER'S NAME.JUST THE RELAVENT ADDRESSES.IVE TRIED VEIWING ALL THE EDITH MAUDE BILLS INFO I CAN FIND,BUT CANT FIND ANYTHING THAT LINKS ME TO THE RIGHT PERSON.THANKS |

Did Edith Maude Bills go on to get married at all? If so any marriage cert would have her age, address and her father's name...that's how you go backwards from there. |

MY GRANDAD ,FRANK BILLS,IS LISTED AS BEING BORN AT 71,MORLAND RD,CROYDEN IN THE YEAR 1914.HIS MOTHER EDITH MAUDE BILLS SOON AFTERWARDS PUT HIM UP FOR ADOPTION.HE SPENT HIS EARLY YEARS IN A BERNARDOS HOME.AT THE TIME OF HIS BIRTH EDITH WAS LISTED AS LIVING AT 9A COLLINGBOURNE RD,SHEPHERDS BUSH AND WORKED AS A MANTLE MANUFACTURERS CLERK.IVE FOUND INFO ON A FEW EDITH BILLS,BUT TO CARRY ON WITH MY FAMILY TREE I NEED TO MAKE SURE IM FOLLOWING THE RIGHT LEADS.DOES ANY OF THE ABOVE ADRESSES MEAN ANYTHING TO ANYONE .ALL HELP WOULD BE APPR.AARON. |
