	Is this your grandmother's birth registration?? West Ham is the registration centre that includes Walthamstow Births Jun 1897 (>99%) Russell Caroline Mabel W. Ham 4a 222 If you buy this certificate it will tell you her mother's maiden name, and her father's occupation at that time. Don't forget that is her father died when she was very young, she will only know about him by hearsay, and she may have misunderstood what he did and his full name! sylvia

Member Since: October 2006 Posts: 96 Send Message	Hi All My Grandmothers Marriage cert has her father listed as Joseph Russell an undertaker. My Great aunts Marriage cert has him listed as Alfred Joseph Russell a sawdust dealer.????? Both he and his wife died when my grandmother Caroline Russell 1897 was an infant. The story is that she was brought up by her sisters Rose and Lydia. But cannot find anything about them. Caroline always said she was born in Walworth that was probably known as Surrey then?? Can anybody please help.!!!!!! She also had brothers Joseph and James.
