Hi Estelle,
According to Ancestry.com :-

"ray" is Northern Middle English for "roebuck",
and "bon" comes from "bane", which meant "bone" or "leg" ("Bein" in German means "leg"), so
Raybon could mean "a fast runner", someone who appeared to be able to run as fast as a deer.

Hello, I'm currently trying to find the origins of the surname Raybon. My partners name is Christopher Raybon but i don not have any information past his father Norman.

If anyone has any information on any possible connections to Raybons in the Wolverhampton area I would be very grateful.
