Photo of Lea Cottages, Wentworth, South Yorks.----it was home to my Maternal grandparents and their 11 children for many years--the ROBINSON's from Wentworth--also reseaching HOBSON, Rotherham and Sheffield area -- TERRY's from South Milford--PAINTER's from Wakefield,West Yorks area and Swinton / Mexborough South Yorks. I am trying to find the ancestors of Dorothy Eva Carver ( maybe born as Eva Dorothy) . She had a son Thomas Carver, born out of wedlock on 19th Feb 1924 and then married Albert John Jay on 10th Oct 1931 at Norwich and went on to have more children. Her age at marriage is stated as 27 and Alberts as 21. Dorothy's father is down as John Carver a Farm Labourer and Albert's father is Charles Jay, Deceased, Coal Merchant. Albert Jay was a Private in the Norfolk Regiment No. 5770570. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
