My goodness, again a plethora of info, I'll copy and paste these and pass them on to my contact, she has a tree on ancestry that has got descendants but nothing backwards, I'm sure that all your info will help her.

There is an ancestral file on familysearch for this couple.

Would a NSW marriage certificate from that time give you the details of her father (parents)?

I'm trying to do some research into these names for an australian contact who has hit a brick wall!!
They were married in MAITLAND, NEW SOUTH WALES in 1873. they had 7 children to the marriage.
What we are trying to find out is their birthdates and parentage if at all possible.
I've tried the various agencies on line for marriages in NSW but they have only got the marriage. If anyone can help it would be great, thanks in anticipation.
