trying to find information about my grandfather lewis frederick whitehead from aldershot hampshire. We know that he was left by his mother at the age of 3 with a mrs turner and lived with her in aldershot we have no more information than this. can anyone help please?

Have you got his marriage cert - that would give a fathers name and occupation? Aldershot? Army town.
