Hi really in need of help from anyone who has access to library/parish record information on the birth of my Ancestor-Henry Whitby Jepson. Born c1821 in Wellingborough Northamptonshire. On Henry's marriage record of 1844 in Daventry father was noted as John Jepson. I have been unable to find any info on Henry's parents other than possible siblings to Henry-Jane Jepson 1815 born in Wellingborough and poss Richard Parsonage Jepson born c1812 in Wellingborough. |

Hi Minnie Thanks for reply. Have tried Hugh Wallis and also have tried LDS church and saw the record you have on your thread. Do they give out information on who the submitter is? how would i find this out? Also he did have son Harry. The family settled in Towcester and Henry Whitby Jepson and his son John Jepson were the bank managers there. |

Have you googled for the name and area? Its an unusual name and you may be lucky if someone else has prepared a tree? |

hi Heather, thanks for info have seen the rootsweb site and yes they are my ancestors. Past few weeks have been living, breathing and dreaming John Jepson! its one of those real stumbling blocks you cant leave alone. Henry Whitby Jepson and his children and upto 1900's has been easy to find. The trouble i'm having is John Jepson he's listed as father on few sites and is on marriage record of his son Henry's wedding but theirs no other records on his to be found-no census 1841/51 that fits. He was listed as being a Bankers Clerk in wedding record of Henry. |
