Try this place! Coventry Archives at the Canal Basin are fantastic. Open Tues-Fri, they hold a wealth of info; and if you're not local (or are local but can't get there) they'll send you copies of info you need for £5. I enquired about a murder, and as well as sending me photocopies of a book entry and something off the microfiche, they told me about an abortionist in the same family! I hadnt even known about that, and copies of that report were included in the £5. |
