Does anyone have any information on a James Casey who was my great-great-grandfather? The only information I have is that he was born in Ireland, probably around 1807 and died sometime before 1872. His wife was Alice, maiden name unknown, and their daughter Ellen was born 1842 or 1843. Ellen married Henry Gregory in Macclesfield on 25/05/1872, and died in 1903 (James is described as 'deceased' on their marriage certificate). Henry and Ellen had 2 daughters, one of whom died in infancy, the other, Elizabeth Ellen, was my grandmother. |
