Dont know of any of these surnames in the family - at least they've not cropped up so far

Hi Margaret

You dont happen to have any of the following in your tree:-

Muldown
Mildown
Muldowney
Mildowney
Muldoon
Mildoon

My Great Great Grandfather was a Robert and his Mother was supposed to have been called Mildown / Muldown.

Although over the generations the above names have been mentioned and also Mulholland.

Robert and Margaret are also supposed to have come from Ireland.

Regards Judith

Trying to find out about Margaret Mulholland. She may or may not have been married to John Selfridge, who himself came from Northern Ireland. Dont have much more info than that except that she was alive in 1927 and would have been his second wife.
