Is there anyone going to Kew at all and how easy is it to find passenger lists? I am after the passenger list of my dad, gran & her husband. They left Canada sometime in 1933 to come to England or possibly Ireland. The surnames O'Donnell.

It's possible, but without a port of arrival and a rough idea of date, it would be a LONG search!

Sorry, all i know is they left when my dad was 2, that was at the end of 1932. Does it help that they were supposed to have been deported, back to ireland i presume as thats where the man of the house came from(Dublin).

The records are arranged by port of arrival, in date order. When there were so many ships arriving at a number of different ports, you'd have to at least know the port.

Are findmypast not transcribing the incoming records at the moment? (or did I dream it?)

If they are it might be a bit of a wait, but an easier search in the long run.
