Hi ozibird,
This last one makes sense, as I was told he was a stone mason and lived in Govan Glasgow. the family came from Ireland as well. I am glad to find more information that he was born in Ireland. Any ideas how to back track from here ( birth place) or find out about his siblings / parents (Jane) etc? thanks for all your help. Jane

Sorry Jane, I know nothing about Irish ancestors. I can't find your Lusks before 1901 so they probably moved over in the decade before.
Use the search facility (in the box 'Top Tips' in left margin) for Irish ancestors. There's plenty of people that will help.
