Hi all

Could someone please help me translate a birthplace on the 1851? It's for a Mary Taylor born c1803 in Hemmethenbosted, Kent! Her husband, James is clearly from Horsmonden, but on the image hers looks like Hemmethen. They are in the Tottenham, district 2c.

Does anyone know Kent geography?

The 1861 shows her birthplace as Hemel Hempstead, Herts & looking at the 1851 image, it could well be that.
