Hi All
My ancestors James Morgan and Eliza Griffiths were married 28 April 1828 in Dymock Gloucester england, I looked on IGI and the batch number is M016631, can some one tell me how and where to get a marriage cert?

Gary, you can't get marriage certificates from 1828, they didn't come into existance until 1837.

You can get a copy of the parish record from Gloucester Records Office but the only additional information you will get are the names of the witnesses and whether the bride and groom were of the parish or not.

Hi Sam
Thankyou for that info, I wanted to get the cert so I could find the parents for both James and Eliza.
Is the Gloucester records office info available on line?

You would have to ring or email the records office and they may make a charge.

You won't get any parents names from the marriage record. If you know when and where they were born (which should be stated on census records) then you need to look for baptisms for them.
