I am looking for the Pring family consisting of :- father William, mother Elizabeth & at least one son, Henry or Edward Henry. Unfortunately I have no idea where they lived.

Henry came to Aust. but from bmd records I have he was born in 3 diff. years!!

Any help would be appreciated.

1841 does not list relationships........

When was Henry born? Approximately will do...............

What bmd records do you refer to? Details would give us some idea of where to locate these people.

If the son was born pre-1837, there will not be a birth record......the most there will be is a baptism record

Thank you all for replying.

Sorry I didn't get back straight away but I live in Australia so big time difference & I have just arrived home from work.

Henry was married in July 1872 & states his age as 41 so born c1831. Just states England as place of birth. Parents Wiliam Pring, labourer, & Elizabeth Taylor. They MAY have lived Devonshire.

He died in 1906 at the age of 84yrs so b c1822

On the record for his son's birth he was born 1829

He lived in Australia & came here in either 1849 or 1855 as there were 2 Henry Prings who came out...not sure which one & both had wives with them.
