If you wish to locate living people the trying to find board would be more productive.

This is the nearest geographically for the birth...........but I only looked on FREE records.

You may find you need to access the FULL records, which are pay-to-view

Name: William T Taylor
Year of Registration: 1917
Quarter of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep
Mother's Maiden Name: Whitehouse
District: West Bromwich
County: Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire
Volume: 6b
Page: 1213

You really need to obtain William's marriage cert...and cross-refer the father's details

There was this one in Dudley--it appears that perhaps these two families may have several marriages between them.

Do you know whether or not the brother Sam survived? I couldn't find a birth record but I did find a death record for a Samuel Taylor, age 1 in West Bromich.

TAYLOR Samuel 1 W.Bromwich 6b 979

Sarah,

You will need to do a little more research. I found a census record for a May Whitehouse, b. abt. 1890 in West Bromich.

May Whitehouse Samuel,
Sarah H abt 1890 West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England Daughter Tipton Staffordshire

This fits with the year of the above marriage (she would have been the right age of abt 17.
