Sophie,

If you have found his death on the Commonwealth War Graves site, then buying the death certificate probably won't give you any more information.

I ordered my great uncles certificate after finding his death on CWGC site but it gave less information than I already had - just name, regiment, date of death and "Killed in Action" for cause of death.

If you do want to order the certificate you will need to get the reference from www.findmypast.co.uk (pay per view site).

Hi

I have been trying to find the death record of my GG grandad Michael Quinn. He was born 1880 in Liverpool and married 1900 to a Bridget Welsh. He joined the Royal Field Artillary Corps during WW1 and died 26 Oct, 1915. His number was 1761 and he was a Driver. Im trying to look for the place and death record of him because i want 2 get his death cert.

Can anyone help me find it?

Sophie
