Hi Ethel! That is indeed the "right marriage", I'd say -- it's the one I put in the thread a few posts ago. ;) |

Hi Fiona. I have also been having a look for you, and found the birth of the son in 1906. I think I have found the right marriage for William to Emma Atkins. 1895. April/June Qtr. reg in Gower. vol 11a 1336. Copy of the birth certificate for William David should give his Mums maiden name. and this should confirm or deny the above marriage. |

I've looked for Edith after 1881, to no avail. Searched for her with her surname, without her surname using date/place of birth details ... Checked out potential marriages, searched for her by those potential surnames, and for the potential grooms, and for the potential grooms' other potential brides (to rule them out), and haven't found a one of the buggers. |

That information is incredible. Thank you. My mum, Mary Marshall, will be thrilled. |

But, just to keep anyone else reading / thinking of offering help up to date -- it turns out that was Fiona's person, born in Wales after all! |
