Hello, I have come across an occupation in 1901 that i can't find an explanation for. The writing is easy to read.

John Aspinall U21 a Redoner (then O- 10/3 written beside it) Salford, Lancashire

He is living with his widowed mother Elizabeth.

Any ideas most welcome!
Kindest regards, Di Aspinall

could he have been a Retoner??

I think that has something to do with colouring photographs?

The O10/3 is written in a different hand, as though it was a coding used by someone entering these details into ledgers or somehting.
