There are no online facilities to look at a 1920 Scottish birth.

Look out for someone posting on Records. Sometimes someone will be visiting the records office in Edinburgh & be willing to do a lookup for you.

Hi All

I was wondering if anyone could help me.

Im trying to find out about my partners grandfather.
He was born 1920, in Aberdeen. his name was George White Farquhar. He worked as a bin man and then served in i believe the Army.
He had a sister named Elizabeth/Elisabeth.
(Im jsut guessing but seeing the pattern of naming children in those days these may be possible parents names)

He married a Victoria Oldroyd (no idea of date) and together they had two children, George and Victoria. Later George had a brief affair with a Christine Huggins and afathered a child Sandra, who they took on after her biological other died.

any help appreciated!
