Member Since: May 2005 Posts: 3 Send Message	Hello All Does anyone have any information regarding John Shannon, I believe he was born in Dublin - or Liverpool - in either 1848 or 1853 (I have conflicting information)? He married Ellen Green and they had a daughter, Sarah. Ellen's parents were Charles and Jane Green. John and Ellen moved to Wakefield, West Yorks but Ellen was originally from Somerset. 	When was their eldest child born? Have you found them as a couple on the census?

Member Since: May 2005 Posts: 3 Send Message	Hi Heather John Shannon was born around 1853 and Ellen in 1857. Sarah Shannon was born 1879, I have found them as a couple on the 1901 census, at which time he was 53. Ellen Green's parents were Charles Green Born c.1825 and Jane Green (also born c1825).
