Hi Marlene These Births do look promising . As far as i know Florence was born in June , But iv'e been wrong before and its worth investigating . Will let you know if I find anything

how about this one?

Florence M DOWNES registered at Aston Sept quarter 1914 mother's maiden name GALLIERS

marriage of Thomas DOWNES to Hannah J GALLIERS registered at West Brom Dec quarter 1912.

It's not uncommon to have no middle name or initial recorded.

I am trying to find my Mothers birth certificate but havn't had any luck to date . I know her b/day was 15th June about 1914/16 Her dad was
Thomas Samual Downes and her Mothers first name was Annie or Hannah but thats all i know . I have been looking for about 12 mths now and have sent for b/cert only to find they are the wrong ones .
I was about to give up when I started to read some of the story's on this site and decided to give it another go , so If anyone can help I would be very happy
