Heather and Julie

Thank you very much for your help.

Dad could only remember that he was at school when his father died and his sister (born 1917) was a "baby", hence a a suggested date of 1918.

Again, thanking for taking the time to look for me.

Regards
Paul

You need the complete bmd index. But you could do a name search for the period 1866-1920 using the pay to view site familyrelatives.org. You do need to narrow down the likely time span as the complete index would be a real old trawl if you dont have a good idea of the death year.

Thomas Henry Goldsmith was my Grandfather.

He was born 30 May 1854 in Oulton, Suffolk, England, married Emma Lydamore (1863-1905) in March 1881 and after her death married my Gandmother Gertrude Fountain (1885-1966) in 1906.

We understand he died at home in Norwich, about 1918, but after much searching on the internet we have been unable to obtain his exact date of death.

Can anyone help please with Thomas Henry Goldsmith date of death?

Regards
Paul
