Hi Claire of Wales..Many thanks for the census information..from your information the census only gives Denbigh as place of birth of Mary..so I feel that no town was listed for her. Am I correct |

Hi Glitter Baby, I feel that there is an error in transcribing the christian name of Deborah Shipton..as I cannot see the original I have to make a judgement. If possible may I have the 1861 and 1871 census..I have the 1841 and can retreave the 1881 census from IGI..Many Thanks |

Hi Claire from Wales and Sylvia from Canada..The census of Mary Ellen Shipton is the daughter of Charles and Mary Shipton the reason that Mary Ellen was born at Ionian Islands Greece is that her father was in the Crimean War and the family travelled with him....The Margaet A shipton b 1869 is my family line, so I know that entry is correct..the birth of Margret Deliah Shipton b 1867 could be another daughter and maybe a early death would give reason to Margaret A Shipton name in 1869...I feel that Deliah is more then likely the wife of John Shipton and mother of Charles Shipton b 1829..I have searched BMD for a death of Debora without success..shame I have no other children listed to John and Debora Shipton. |

Hi Claire from Wales..I cannot see a Margaret Deliah Shipton b 1867 Chorlton in the 1871 census index..so there is a possibility of an early death |
