Hi, I dont think so. I have the family on the 1891 Census at the address my gt-grandfather was born in Maesteg. My Catherine was aged 7 so that would put her birth at around 1884. |

I am looking for information on my great-grandfather's sisters. He was John Lewis (known as Jack) born in Maesteg in 1889 to William Lewis and Ann Griffith. He had an older sister Catherine Ann Lewis and a younger sister Jenny (possibly Jennet) born around 1891. Ann died in 1893 and the siblings were orphaned in 1898 when William died in mining accident. Family legend has it that one of the sisters was adopted. |
