You can't really hope to find out anything without the marriage cert.

It will tell you his declared age at the time........his occupation, and the name and occupation of his father (if known)

The names of the witnesses may also prove helpful.............

Trying to find CHW who married Selina Byatt 13th May 1913 at Blackburn Register Office. After their first child was born he walked out.
We cannot find his Birth or death Certificates. Not on Military or shipping lists. Any ideas how to find my grandfather?
